L. Edwin Expositions was founded in 2002 as a wedding expo with just 20 exhibitors from the wedding industry. By 2006, the event had grown significantly, with over 50 exhibitors, and was held in one of the largest exposition halls at the Centre of Excellence. From 2008 to 2018, the event, known as the L. Edwin Wedding and Events Exposition, took place at the Hilton Trinidad, featuring 50 exhibitors and attracting more than 3,000 patrons annually.
In 2019, the exposition moved to the Hyatt Trinidad, drawing 55 exhibitors, including international tourism and hoteliers from destinations like St. Lucia, Barbados, and St. Kitts & Nevis, over a two-day event. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the L. Edwin Exposition transitioned to a virtual format, hosting 40 exhibitors and engaging patrons planning micro-events, offering them a platform of hope and execution.
As we approach 2025, the L. Edwin brand is set to launch its first-ever international Hair, Skin, Beauty, and Beyond Exposition. This new venture will focus on providing solutions and care for hair, skin, and wellness needs. The event will bring together professionals dedicated to solving the challenges we face in maintaining our hair, skin, and overall wellness. Ultimately, the goal is to help individuals prepare for their special occasions—whether it’s a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or even a well-deserved vacation—by nurturing a healthier and more confident version of themselves.
